I must say that I am surprised at the quality of this knife right out of the box. When I ordered it, I had no expectations whatsoever but after a short session of cutting up some vegetables for dinner I am quite satisfied. The quality of the blade is nice and sharp, it is also double bevel so lefties needn't worry. The portion near the tip of the knife will need a good sharpening since it seemed a bit lacking when I did my trial run. The only major concern (deduction of 1 star) that I do have is the handle. It is cheap plastic and feels like it will break if extra care is not taken to avoid accidents or bumpage of the knife at a wrong angle. Overall, for the price, it is an excellent buy since the blade quality is on par with more expensive knives.
